Invisalign

Straightening your teeth with Invisalign is a fantastic alternative to traditional braces, but you will need an appointment at our office to determine if you are a good candidate for this particular method of orthodontics.  If you are a candidate for Invisalign treatment, Dr. Stirneman will take a series of impressions of your teeth. After that, your customized aligner trays are manufactured and a course of treatment is planned.

You will wear a series of clear, removable aligners that will gradually realign your teeth. The aligners are clear and virtually invisible.  And, because they are removable, you can continue doing all the things you normally would.  You can brush and floss your teeth normally and eat all of your favorite foods.  An added benefit is that you will not have irritated cheeks and gums as you may with braces.

You will visit Dr. Stirneman every month or two to check your changes and to get new aligners. About every two weeks, you will change your aligners as your teeth move, little by little. They are comfortable to wear and barely noticeable!

Many people have already discovered the great benefits of Invisalign. If you are interested or have any questions, give us a call today!

Frequently Asked Questions

If you are interested in straightening your teeth, we can provide you with several options. The first option is Invisalign, which consists of a series of clear aligners, much like a retainer, that gradually adjust your teeth. Invisalign provides you the option of straightening without the visibility of braces. It also offers you the flexibility to remove the trays when eating or drinking. The second option for straightening your teeth is veneers. Veneers are porcelain overlays that sit on the surface of your natural tooth and provide an extremely natural result.  The third option for straightening your teeth are crowns, which is a tooth covering that wraps around the entire tooth.
